Loss and hardship can take a great deal from a child. They should never take away the future. AmalKin exists so that a child's circumstances don't decide what they get to become.

Children who have lost both parents

We become the steady presence. The mentors who remember their birthday, the classmates who save them a seat, the people who notice when they don't show up.

Children who have lost a parent

Grief changes a home. We give a child one place each week where their curiosity is protected, their questions are welcome, and their future stays wide open.

Children growing up with less

Talent is everywhere. Laptops, good teachers and time are not. We bring all three, so a gifted child is never held back by an empty bank account.

Technology is the subject. Confidence is the outcome. Every child moves through four stages at their own pace, with the same mentors walking beside them.

  1. Belong

    A small cohort, a dedicated mentor and a place to be every week. Before any lesson, a child needs to know they are wanted.

  2. Discover

    Hands-on introductions to artificial intelligence, coding and robotics, taught in their language and built around play.

  3. Build

    Real projects that solve real problems in their own community, presented with pride to the people who believe in them.

  4. Lead

    Hackathons, internships and scholarships. Our graduates come back to mentor the next children who walk through the door.
